Chamberla Collector Rules and Terms

Chamberla Collector is a hobby app for tracking and verifying your actual physical video game collection and sharing it with your friends. It's run by one individual developer. By creating an account you agree to these rules. They are written in plain English on purpose.

Who can use it

You must be 13 or over. You are responsible for your account and for anything that you do under it. Keep your sign in details private.

Be decent

Do not use the app to:

• Harass, threaten or bully anyone, or share hateful content aimed at a person or group.
• Post anything sexually explicit, or anything that sexualizes minors or puts them at risk.
• Share someone's private details (e.g. their address or phone number) without their permission.
• Pretend to be someone else.
• Send spam, scams or unwanted bulk messages.
• Break the law or encourage others to.

Be honest about your collection

• Don't fake verification in any form. No made-up barcodes or labels, and no scanning games you don't own. Verification only shows that you scanned something. It doesn't prove the game is genuine or in good condition.
• Don't try to get around the limits, tamper with other people's data, or probe the service for weaknesses. If you find a security issue, please email us.

Listings and loans between users

The app lets users list games and lend games to each other. Chamberla Collector doesn't handle payments, shipping or returns, and it makes no guarantees about any listing, buyer, seller or borrower. Deals are between you and the other person. Don't list stolen, counterfeit or illegal goods. Be very careful, meet safely and use a payment method that protects you.

Reporting and blocking

You can block anyone and report any user from their profile or from a message. Reports are reviewed by the developer, and a reported message stays available to the reviewer even if the sender later deletes it.

What can happen if rules are broken

An account may receive a warning, a temporary suspension or a permanent ban depending on what happened. A suspended account can still read but cannot post, message, comment, list or edit its profile. Content that breaks the rules can be removed. A suspended or banned account can't be deleted by its owner while the suspension is in force, and reports about it will be kept.

Appeals

If you think a suspension or ban was a mistake then please email support@chamberlacollector.com from the address on your account with a brief explanation. All appeals are read, but there is no set timeline for a decision.

Your content

What you post remains yours. By posting it you're allowing the app to store it and show it to the people you've shared it with so that the app can function. You can delete your content, or your entire account, from the app at any time.

No guarantees

The app is provided as is, free of charge, and may change, have bugs or be unavailable at any time. Game prices, lists and disc-to-digital information come from public and community sources and may be incorrect. Check them yourself before making a purchase decision. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any losses from using the app.

Changes

If the rules change, the date above will change, and significant changes will be listed in the app's patch notes. By continuing to use the app after a change, you accept it.
